In January 2007, Parques Reunidos was acquired by the private equity firm, antibes Candover Investments. The company operates two cable cars in Spain. . These antibes facilities are located in Spain, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Argentina, and the United States.
Through acquisitions of established names such as Kennywood antibes Soul Call Entertainment Company and Palace Entertainment, Parques Reunidos greatly expanded its presence in American amusement operations in 2007. The group operates over 50 antibes parks in almost a dozen countries.
Parques Reunidos operates theme and amusement parks, zoos, water parks, family entertainment centers, and cable cars.
